Properties:

Grayish white or slightly yellow crystalline or powder;odorless;slightly bitter;absorb moisture when exposed to air;Gradually darkens when exposed to light.Slightly soluble in dimethylformamide, very slightly soluble in water or ethanol,soluble in acetic acid,hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide solution.

Functions and Uses:

Quinolone antibacterial drugs, mainly act on the DNA gyrase of bacteria, causing the DNA helix of bacteria to crack.

It has high antibacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Shigella, Proteus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and also has good antibacterial effect on gram-positive bacteria such as staphylococcus and pneumococcus.
